“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Those are the words of the First Amendment in the Constitution. Notice that it gives the people freedom of speech and the right to peaceably assemble and petition the Government. It applies to all Americans. Even neo-Nazis.
Whether you like it or not, they have the right to say what they want and peaceably assemble. You can block them or shout them out like the students at Texas A&M did when Westboro Baptist Church protested there, but you can’t attack them.
I would love to beat the shit out of the Westboro bastards or any fucker who burns the American flag but you can’t go around attacking peaceful American citizens just because they have a different political view or they annoy you. “Anti-fascist protestors” in Sacramento don’t seem to understand any of that. Members of the Traditional Worker Party got permits to assemble and when they gathered, they were met by these “anti-fascists”. Violently. It was reported that some of them actively sought out members of the party and attacked them and anyone who was white. An “anti-fascist” with a bandage on her head was interviewed by Frances Wang of ABC10 and claimed that fascists have no right to free speech. If burning the flag constitutes free speech and you’re not allowed to attack the people doing it, I don’t think you should be allowed to attack people who really haven’t done anything but gather together for a demonstration. That’s pretty obvious.
At least seven people were stabbed. The media would have you believe that these masked shit-stirrers were the victims there. Victims of their own idiocy, maybe. They’re just lucky they didn’t get shot. If you attack a neo-Nazi while they’re exercising their First Amendment rights, don’t be surprised when they exercise their Second Amendment rights as well.
You’re no longer a victim at that point.
